About me
Hi I'm Vanessa and I own and operate Sweet Treasures Custom Cakes!
I’ve had a passion for baking since I was a little girl, baked goods make me happy, especially when they look pretty too :) I started cake decorating after I had my first son in 2009, I decided to attempt making his birthday cake! After that I just developed a passion for this business and everything it entails! I enjoy learning pretty much about everything; I have a BA in Finance, an MBA, and I'm a Certified Food Handler by the National Restaurant Association. I have always enjoyed all things crafty, and I also LOVE working with my hands, when I added that to my love for baking I created Sweet Treasures! I currently live in Southbury CT, and have a licensed and insured home based business. Working from home has enabled me to have much needed flexibility to care for my 4 children! I hope you enjoy my page, and allow me the privilege to help you plan your next celebration cake!
About my Cakes
Specialty cakes are artistic ways to make people happy
for the celebration of any special event! The cake really is an amazing part of any celebration, it creates an amazing centerpiece for your dessert table and it wraps and accentuates the beauty of everything else in your party decor.
You can look through my Webpage, Facebook, or Instagram accounts for some inspiration on your next cake or you can take ideas from different pictures and we can design it together to better suit your wishes!
I like to take orders about 1 to 3 weeks ahead, but feel free to call me with last minute orders and I will do my best to accommodate them.
My prices are reasonable and are based on the size and amount of detail of the cake.
